PROPHECIES GIVEN TO DR. JOHN DAVID KIRBY

30th 2008
Prophecy
for the year 2009
The year 2009 will
be known as “The Year of Sight”. (I
was shown these words written down in a dream)
God is going to open
the eyes of His people to depths and degrees that we have never
known. He is going to show us realms that we have never seen
before. He is going to show us things in His word, and in the
spirit that we have never seen before. God is going to show us
things to come! (John 16:13) This year will be likened to the
story of the man that was born blind, and Jesus gave sight to in
John chapter nine (9). (Read and study John chapter nine, it is
full of incredible prophetic insights for 2009)
Just as Jesus “anointed”
the eyes of the blind man, and gave him sight, He is going to
anoint our eyes with eye salve, and we will see like we have
never seen before! (see Revelation 3:18)
After Jesus anointed
the man’s eyes, He told him to go and wash in the pool of
Siloam. We must repent and “wash” all of our sins away. As
we do this our eyes will be open and we will see what has been
blinding us and hindering us from fulfilling God’s purpose in
our lives.
I
am going to open the eyes of My people this year to see what
they have never seen before, says the Lord. My people are going
to see how they have been deceived by the evil one in the past.
As I open the eyes of My people, the plans and ploys of the
devil will be exposed! As My people see where and how the enemy
has gained entrance into their lives, they will begin to close
those doors that they have opened for him. My people have been
deceived, because they have not seen the works of darkness and
the sly subtle ways the enemy has deceived them. I am going to
open the eyes of My people to such a degree, that they will see
every plan, plot and ploy of the evil one set up against them.
The more My people see, the less they will be deceived.My people
are going to see “the great deception” that has occurred in
the earth. As My people see, they will begin to rise up against
the darkness and the deception that has gripped the world, saith
the Lord.
2009 is going to
really be a “Year of the Holy Spirit”.
This is going to be
an amazing year of Illumination, Revelation, and Manifestation.
God has shown me
that there will be “fine wine in 2009”.
Like Jesus saved the
“best wine for last” at the wedding in Cana of Galilee, He
has saved His “best wine” for such a time as this! He has
shown me that He is really going to use His people that have
been tested and proven and have been found faithful. Just like
“fine wine” is the “aged wine” that has passed the test
of time, so are the people of God that have done the same. Many
of these people of God have been in the “wine cellar” of
obscurity, aging to perfection until the proper time when God
can bring them out and pour them out and serve them to the world
and His people. Now is the time for these people to come forth,
and for their gifts to be poured out. Now is the time for what
is “in them” to be poured out “of them” and shared with
the church and the world. These saints of God will pour out
tremendous revelation from the word of God, amazing prophetic
insights, and intense prophetic accuracy. They will also display
incredible “power from on high”. We will see these people
come forth and be elevated in 2009! God is going to use these
people mightily in miraculous signs, wonders, and miracles.
Their amazing prophetic accuracy will lead to greater
deliverance and healing of God’s people, and a harvest of
souls in the earth.
Now
is the time for my “seasoned ones” to come forth saith the
Lord. Now is the time for My “fine wine” to be poured out.
Just as the Apostle Paul said that he was ready to be poured out
as a drink offering, it is time for the pouring out and the
pouring forth of My Spirit through these tested and proven
vessels. I am going to bring out of My store house, and out of
My wine cellar, the finest of wheat and the choicest of wine.
It
is time for My people to taste of what I have saved for this
time. Those who have remained faithful to Me and to My purposes
will be the first to partake of what I have prepared for My
people, says the Lord. Then it will spread as a “river of wine’
to the rest of My people and to the whole wide world. Many of My
chosen ones have wondered when they would be used mightily by
me. Many have wondered why they were not being promoted or
advanced. This is the reason, and now is the time, says the
Lord. I call My “fine wine” forth now! “Come forth and
flow, and fulfill My plans and purposes in the earth, says the
Lord.
2009 is likened to
Daniel chapter nine (9).
Verse one declares
“In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of the seed
of the Medes, which was made king over the realm of the
Chaldeans;
As Daniel chapter
nine and verse one declares the first year of Darius as king of
the Chaldeans, we are entering in America, into the first year
of Barak Obama as president of the United States of America.
Daniel chapter nine reveals Daniel’s prayer of repentance and
intercession to the God of all mercies. This year we too as the
people of God must do the same! We must cry out to God in
repentance and intercession. God will hear, and heal our land!
(2 Chronicles 7:14) (Read and study Daniel chapter nine, this is
critical for the times in which we are living and specifically
for the year 2009 and beyond…)
As
Daniel My servant saw from My word, the revelation of what was
soon to come to pass, he began to cry out to Me in prayer and
supplication. He began to cry out to me in repentance for the
sins that his people and his leaders had committed. As your eyes
are opened this year, it is imperative for you to begin to do
the same. I will move on the behalf of the prayers and the
repentance of My people, says the Lord. I am calling you back to
me. Just as I caused Pharaoh’s daughter to draw Moses out of
the river, I am “drawing” you back to Me, says the Lord. My
people have gone astray, running after their own ways and the
satisfying of their fleshly desires. I am “drawing you out”,
and back to me. My people will see the error of their ways, and
their selfishness and return to Me this year, says the Lord.
Once again my people will see that I alone am God. They will
come to the realization that the government is upon My shoulder
and not the shoulders of men. They will see that I am their
source and provider, not the economies of the world. They will
see that it is vanity to place their trust in that which can so
easily crumble to the ground. As I placed My people in Goshen
and provided the best for them in famine, I will do the same for
My people this year, and the years to come. My people will see
and return to Me this year, says the Lord. Do not fear the
things that are coming upon the earth. Know that I am God and
beside Me there is no other. Take heart and be of good courage,
as I was with Moses, so will I be with thee! I will not fail
thee, nor forsake thee, says the Lord.
In 2009 we will see
a greater separation between the sheep and the goats. We will
see a greater separation between those who “say” they are
Christians, and those who truly “are” Christians. The dark
are going to get darker and the light are going to get brighter.
2009 will be a year of separation, sanctification, and
consecration. God’s people are going to have their eyes open
to God’s place in the church and in the world. We will see
that it is all about God and His Kingdom, not all about us and
our kingdoms. God is going to move upon many people to open “power
houses” this year. These will be homes and facilities that
allow God to move in power and demonstration. Many churches are
not allowing God to move by His Spirit, so God is going to begin
to “draw” his people to “power houses” where He can move
and minister to His people by His Spirit. If man gets in God’s
way, God makes a way to minister to His people!
The words of Jesus
concerning knowing people by their fruit will be pertinent and
evident this year and in the years to come. Remember the words
of the Lord Jesus not to let any man deceive you. (Matthew 24:4)
“To deceive” means to blind or to “pull the wool over ones
eyes.” This is the year of sight! This is the year that we
begin to see like we have never seen! This is the year, and now
is the time! God is calling us as His people to “arise and
shine in 2009!”

Prophecy
for the year 2008
The year
2008 will
be a year of “New Beginnings”! It will be
"likened" to the "eighth day" after the
seven days of Creation. It was actually the "first
day" of the completed operation of what God had
created. It was the first day after the creation and after
God rested on the seventh day. (Read Genesis chapters
one and two.) Just as "The Eight",
Noah and his wife, his three sons and their wives began again
after the flood, this year will be a year of "New
Beginnings". (Read Genesis chapter
"Eight") Many "new things" will be
birthed this year. Many new ministries will be born this
year. This will be a year when many changes will begin to
occur. This will be a year when new leaders will begin to
emerge in the Church, bringing with them fresh new ideas and
concepts of ministry. God is going to elevate new leaders
into places of authority and prominence in the Church this
year. As older "Fathers of the Faith" graduate
into Heaven, new generals will emerge to take their
places. This is truly the beginning of a "new
day" in the Church and for the Kingdom of God on
Earth. Many will return to their "First Love"
this year. (Read Revelation chapter two verses four and
five) There will be a "newness" and a
"freshness" in the House of God this year. As
many return to their "First Love", their devotion and
passion will spread to the other believers. This will
cause the fire of God to manifest in the midst of the
Church. In Revelation chapter "eight" verses
three through five, we find the angel throwing fire from the
altar in Heaven to the Earth. I believe this is the year
when this fire shall be thrown to the Earth and begin to blaze
in the House of God! The prayers of the Saints have been
answered, and we shall see the results.
"This
is the year of New Beginnings, says the Lord. This is the
year when you shall see My Hand move in ways that you have only
dreamed of and in ways that you have read of in My word.
This year you shall begin to see new things emerge in the Church
and in the world. Now is the time for Me to release the
"new generation" of leadership that I have spoken of
and prophesied to My people, says the Lord. Just as I lead
My people out of the "wilderness" and changed their
lives and direction, I am going to do the same this
year, says the Lord. It is now time to take and to
possess your "Promised Land", says the Lord.
Now is the time to move into "the new thing"!"
2008 will be a year when many new "gates",
"doors", and "windows" will be opened.
God is going to open for His people gates, doors, and windows
that have been shut and locked tight. Many of these gates,
doors and windows have looked impossible to open. These
gates, doors, and windows include cities, states, provinces,
regions, and nations on the Earth. These gates, doors, and
windows also include "entrance" into other
"religions", and "religious strongholds".
Many people who have been bound in darkness will see "The
Great Light" this year, and come out of the darkness that
has blinded them, and bound them for so long. (Read
Matthew chapter four and verse sixteen)
"I am going to open doors for My people this year that have
been sealed shut by the hand of the evil one. I am going
to open gates to nations that have been sealed for "this
time". It is time to advance the Kingdom of God on
the Earth. It is time to take new ground and new
territory. Many of My people have thought that I have
given up on certain regions of the world. I have never
given up. I will take the greatest desolations are cause
them to be the greatest Edens on the planet. I have not
and never will forget My promises, says the Lord. What I
have spoken in My word, I will perform." (Read
Isaiah chapter twenty two and verse twenty two, Revelation
chapter three verses seven and eight, Isaiah chapter fifty five
and verse eleven and Isaiah chapter fifty eight and verse
twelve)
2008 will be a year when we as the Church carry the
Presence of the Lord into areas many thought would never be
reached. God is going to raise up and release a company of
men and women who have been born for "such a time as
this"! This company of people thrive on what others
call impossible. They live for the challenge and the
excitement of doing the impossible. These warriors will
infiltrate regions of the world and religious strongholds that
have been previously untouched. These warriors know the
danger that awaits them and they thrive on the opportunity to
live or die for the King! Many of these warriors and their
achievements will never be known in this life but they shall be
known and crowned in the next life. As these gates, doors,
and windows are opened, the King of Glory will go in! (Read
Psalm chapter twenty four and verses seven through
ten)
“Many
of My people have become complacent and stale in their
relationship with Me and with the Church, says the Lord. Many
because of the current leadership, and the current condition of
most of the Church. I am going to bring the change
necessary to bring My people out of their slumber. Much of
what is happening in the Church is not impacting people for My
Glory. Much of what is happening is only building man and
his glory. I am going to bring about the change necessary
to cause My people to see My Glory and My Glory alone. The
"new breed" of leadership will live for My Glory and
My Glory alone says the Lord! This change in leadership
will be the catalyst I will use to bring forth My plans in the
Earth.
There will be a melding and a blending of the old leadership who
flow with Me, and the new leadership that I am bringing
forth. Those leaders who flow with Me will see the effects
and the manifestation of the things that I am doing in the
Church and in the Earth. Those leaders who refuse to
change and flow with My "new thing" will see the
people leave them for My new thing. It is My church, My
Kingdom, and My people says the Lord. I will bring My
plans to pass on the Earth. Now is the time for the
revelation of "the new creation" to come alive in the
hearts of My people. Now is time for My people to begin to
live in the fullness of the newness of life." (Read
Second Corinthians chapter five and verse seventeen, and Romans
chapter six and verse four) "Now is the time
for the outpouring of "The New Wine"! Now is the
time for the manifestation of "The New Wine
Skins". "The Old Wine Skins" must become
"new again" so that they may partake of The New
Wine. The Old Wine Skins must "recognize" both
The New Wine and The New Wine Skins in order for them to become
"new again" and to partake of The New Wine. The
Old Wine Skins must "acknowledge their need" for both
The New Wine and The New Wine Skins in order for them to become
New Wine Skins themselves. Unless The Old Wine Skins
become New Wine Skins they will not carry The New Wine.
The New Wine is the fullness of the revelation and the fullness
of the power of My Spirit to fulfill my purpose in the Earth for
"The Last Days", says the Lord. This is a
crucial time for all of My leadership, and for all of My people,
says the Lord." (Read Mathew chapter nine and verses
sixteen and seventeen) "As I have declared in
My word: Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new
things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of
them." (Isaiah chapter forty two and verse
nine) "I am telling you now so that when you begin to
see these things come to pass you will believe them and embrace
them. As I have spoken in My word: Remember ye not the
former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold,
I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye
not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and
rivers in the desert. The beast of the field shall honour
me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the
wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my
people, my chosen. This people have I formed for
myself; they shall show forth my praise."
(Isaiah chapter forty three and verses eighteen through twenty
one) "As I caused the "Iron Gate" to open
for Peter, I will open the gates for you. As I delivered
Peter from prison and from death, I will deliver
you." (Read Acts chapter twelve and verses one
through eleven) "I will cause the gates, doors, and
windows to open wide! I will cause what was closed up
tight to open. I will cause that which was called
"impossible to open", to open to the fullest!
You shall see the beginning of the greatest move of My
power begin to sweep the Earth. Now is the
time! I am bringing forth My plans and My purposes in the
Earth. Stay close to Me, listen closely to My voice and
obey My voice, pay careful attention to My word and obey My
word, and you shall be a part of History, says the Lord!
This is truly the day of "New Beginnings", and you
shall see them, and be a part of them, says the Lord."

Prophecy
for the year 2007
The year 2007 with
be a year of “release”! It is “The Lord’s year of
release”. It is the “seventh year”! (Read and study
Deuteronomy chapter 15.) Many blessings will be “released”
from the Lord this year. God is going to release to His people
the things that we have asked Him for in prayer. He is going to
release finances into the hands of the faithful. He is going to
release a fresh wave of healing and miracle anointing across the
earth. The Lord is going to release people into their ministries
this year, and many shall receive their “commission” from
the Lord Himself. The ones who receive their commission will
begin to walk in the fullness of their ministry and their
giftings. The anointing is going to be incredible upon them. The
anointing is going to be visible upon them. Many mighty signs,
wonders, and miracles will accompany them, as well as the other
ministry gifts.
The Lord is going to
“call” people into ministry this year. Many that never
thought they would be in the ministry are about to be visited by
the Lord. Some will be visited by the Lord personally. Many will
receive their call to ministry through His prophets. God is
going to visit His people in dramatic ways this year!
“I
have seen the condition of My people, and I am coming to bring
great change, says the Lord. I am going to visit My people in
dramatic encounters and visitations. I have spoken to My
prophets and revealed to them and through them that I was going
to bring change. That change is here! That change is now!
Prepare for the change that will occur in your life, says the
Lord.”
“Many
people are going to be “released” this year. Many who are
bound in the prison of darkness will be delivered this year.
Many who have never known Me will be drawn to Me this year,
says
the Lord. Many of My people who have been overcome by the wicked
one will be released this year. My people will walk in the
freedom that My Son Jesus Christ died for! My people will be
shaken free! My people will be shaken loose from the tyranny of
the wicked one! Just as you have seen the end of an evil regime,
and its leader taken down and justice served, I will bring the
powers of evil over My people down, says the Lord. I am going to
anoint My Messengers with power from on high! My prophets will
thunder My message with a force of power that will shake My
people free! The force of their words will rock My Church to its
foundation! The anointing of freedom is being released! Now is
the time! Today is the day! Rise up My beloved and run free!
says the Lord. ”
This year many
people will receive “a new lease on life!”
A “Re- Lease” We
will see the increase of both “Incurable,” and “Terminal”
people healed by the power of the Lord.
(Read Luke chapter
13 verses 10 through 16)
This year many
people who have been in so-called “terminal,” and “incurable”
situations will be set free. This is the year to receive the “new
- lease” and walk in the “release” of the Lord.
“This
year will be a year of great “rest” and “peace” for My
people. This is a Sabbath year for My people says the Lord. This
is a Sabbatical year. As I rested and reigned on the “seventh
day”, it will be a year for My people to rest and to reign! I
am pouring out a supernatural Divine Grace of peace and rest
upon My people. This is a year to enjoy the “fruits” of your
labors. There will be a “Divine Flow” upon My people this
year. There will be no striving and struggling to accomplish My
will in the earth. My Spirit will be upon My people in a very
tangible and powerful way this year. My people who walk with Me
will “flow” with Me this year. Press into Me this year. Stay
close to Me this year. Flow with Me this year and I will flow
through you. The striving and the struggling is over, the flow
is here! Flow with me in your life. Flow with Me in your
ministry. Flow with Me and it will be effortless! It is the
Sabbath year, It is the Sabbatical year! It is the year to flow
in all the fruit and the blessings of the Lord! Says your God!
This will be a year of great revelation. The revealing of
destiny, purpose, calling, and vocation. I am pouring out a
greater grace of revelation to my prophets this year. It is to
help My people find their “true identity.” It is time for My
people to know who they are! It is time for My people to know
their callings and giftings. It is time for My people to be
activated and functioning in My Body, The Church, Says the Lord.
It is time for My people to know their place and produce that
which I have created them to produce for their sake, and for the
sake of the rest of the Body. My people, you must understand
your place and purpose as a “vital organ” in My Body, says
the Lord.”
During the year
2007, the Lord is going to be “sealing” His bond servants.
(Read and study Revelation chapter 7!)
God has shown me
that the numbers 2007 have a very significant meaning. It is not
coincidental that a new “007” James Bond movie has just been
released. Many times things are revealed first in the natural
and then in the supernatural.
1 Cor 15:46 “
Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is
natural ; and afterward that which is spiritual.” KJV. God is
sealing His “Bond Servants” this year. He is sealing His “Bond
Men” and “Bond Women.” In Deuteronomy chapter 15 and verse
17, God shows us the “sealing” of the “bond servant”
forever, with the piercing of the ear.
The Lord has
revealed to me that the name “James” is from the Old
Testament name “Jacob!” As Jacob “wrestled” with God,
God marked him, or “sealed” him forever!
(Read and study
Genesis chapter 32 verses 24 through 32.) Jacob’s “limp”
was a seal from the Lord, and a sign to others that He was God’s
bond servant forever! This year God is sealing His “Bond
Servants” forever!
A “Bond Servant”
is a very special individual to God! The Greek word for “bond
servant” is Doulos. (doo’ loos) Thayer’s Greek Lexicon
says that a bondman (doulos) is one who gives himself up wholly
to another’s will. Those whose service is used by Christ in
extending and advancing His cause among men: used of the
apostles. One who is devoted to another to the disregard of one’s
own interests. A servant, an attendant of a king.
(Read and study the
following verses in the book of Revelation: chapter 7 and verse
3, 3:12, 13:16, 14:1, 20:4, and 22:4. See also Ezekiel chapter 9
and verse 4.)
I believe “the
book of James” has significant relevance to the church in the
year 2007. (Spend time reading and studying the book of James)
It is also interesting that James chapter one and verse one is
addressed to the 12 tribes of Israel. We also find the “sealing“
of the Tribes in Revelation chapter 7! “Like” the “James
Bond” character, God is raising up and releasing many of His
“Special Agents” to go forth into the world to destroy the
plans and the works of the devil. (See First John chapter 3 and
verse 8.) God is sending them into the enemy’s camp to release
prisoners, and to take back powerful weapons that have been
stolen from the Church. These are some of the ones predicted by
the Lord in Daniel chapter 11 and verse 32! “but the people
that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.” KJV
The year 2007 will
also “likened” to the seventh chapter of Genesis. It is the
chapter of Noah’s flood. (Please read and study Genesis
chapter 7.) I believe that the Lord is truly calling people to
come into the ARK of safety, which is the Lord Jesus Himself! I
believe just as the flood came and prevailed over the earth for
a time, we will see the “flood” of darkness continue to rise
and cover the earth. But just as Noah and his family were safe
inside the ARK, those who heed the call will be safe from the
things that are coming on the earth. There will be darkness and
gross darkness on the earth. (see Isaiah chapter 60 verse 2) As
natural and supernatural calamities continue to wreak havoc with
the planet, the people of God who have entered the ARK of safety
will be secure. The day will come when the flood of evil will be
over and the righteous shall stand in the eternal bliss of God!
Please note how many
times in Genesis chapter seven the word “seven” is used!
This too is very significant!
It is important to
also understand the number 2 in 2007 as well. The number 2 is
the number of “competent testimony”. This testimony or
witness will be accomplished through the Church in 2007 like
never before! The people of the world will see the favor and the
blessing of the Lord upon us! This will be a witness to the
nations that the Lord is God, and that He does have a righteous
and holy people in the earth!
This “testimony/witness”
speaks of the “testimony of Jesus!” Revelation chapter 19
and verse 10 states: “for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit
of prophecy.” KJV
God is truly about
to pour His Spirit out in unprecedented ways! (See Acts 2:16-21)
The prophets will
prophecy and what they say shall come to pass! The people shall
prophecy and the Lord will confirm His Word with signs
following! Genesis chapter 2 and verses 2 and 3 say: “And on
the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he
rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that
in it he had rested from all his work which God created and
made.” KJV
The year 2007 will
be a year when many come to the Lord and begin to “live”! It
will be a year when new life is “breathed” into “dry bones”.
(See Ezekiel chapter 37)
God is going to blow
the refreshing and reviving wind of His Spirit upon the Church
in 2007! Many of God’s people will be “quickened” (made
alive!) again to their eternal purpose in God!
Genesis chapter 2
and verse 7 says: “ And the LORD God formed man of the dust of
the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life;
and man became a living soul.” KJV
Just as we see from
this verse- 2:7- we have once again the numbers involved in the
year 2007 and we see the revelation of what the Lord is about to
do! This is truly going to be a year to remember! Many
incredible things are going to come to pass this year! It will
be a year of great blessings and celebration for the people of
God! It is time to rejoice in the fruit and walk in the blessing
of the Lord!
It shall be a year
when we will say, “…on earth as it is in heaven!”
